Put bluntly: the trainer's ability and whether the school helps you find clients will affect your earnings far more than fifteen minutes in the car. Judge those first, then deal with logistics.

- Is the training one to one or in a group? In a group you mostly watch. One to one is where skill is built.
- Does the trainer still work with clients? A working artist teaches what Dubai actually books now.
- What happens after you finish? A certificate does not introduce you to clients. Placement support does.
- Can the certificate be verified? A school that lets anyone check a credential by number is standing behind its graduates.
- How many hands on hours are on real faces? Ask for the number, not a vague answer.

What about online training?
Online courses solve the distance problem entirely, and for theory they are genuinely useful. Colour, skin science, pricing, and the business side all translate to a screen.
The craft does not. Nobody can see how much pressure you are using, how you are blending at the edges, or where you are placing product from a video call. Makeup is learned through corrected repetition on real faces. Treat online material as a supplement, not a replacement.
